Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 79-39, which was the final score in Max S. Hayes' tilt against Washington on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Max S. Hayes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 786th, while Washington is ranked 60th).
Lincoln West's defeat was their 11th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-9. As for Max S. Hayes, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
Lincoln West beat Max S. Hayes 70-59 when the teams last played back in December of 2022. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Max S.
