Softball Recap: Honeoye Takes a Loss

Honeoye was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-6 to the Geneva Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-10 on Wednesday.

Honeoye's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Geneva, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Honeoye will head out to take on Sodus at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Geneva, they will challenge Clyde-Savannah at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Eagles have averaged an impressive 10.9 runs per game this season.
