While Oneida's win against Jellico wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Indians had just enough and edged out the Blue Devils 87-84. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won three in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Jellico lost on Friday, don't look at Trey Vann. Despite the final result, he shot 50% from the field en route to 26 points and eight boards. Vann has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Macoy Johnson also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Oneida's record now sits at 9-5. As for Jellico, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-9.

Looking ahead, Oneida will face off against Midway at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Jellico, they will take on Hancock County at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
