Basketball Recap: Gholson Takes a Loss

Gholson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Oglesby Tigers, falling 41-7. Gholson lost against Oglesby in their previous head to head back in February of 2025, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 29-18 score last time.

Gholson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Oglesby, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-17.

Looking ahead, Oglesby will square off against Cranfills Gap at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Gholson will be paying especially close attention to Oglesby's contest: after Oglesby faces off against Cranfills Gap, they'll take on Gholson again at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
