Football Recap: Gulf Piles Up the Points Against Anclote

There's no place like home for Gulf, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Anclote Sharks 27-0.

One reason for the win was Gulf's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Vanessa Matosdeaza-Defillo and Zaedah Ford, who racked up all four sacks between them.

Gulf's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Anclote, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, Gulf and Anclote will both be playing Hudson the next time they take the field. Gulf will host Hudson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Anclote will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
