            La Pine is 9-1 against Creswell since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Hawks are taking a road trip to  challenge the Bulldogs  at 2:00  p.m. Both come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
It was a Battle of the Birds when La Pine challenged Elmira on Tuesday. The Hawks were the clear victors by  a  10-4 margin over the Falcons. The  win continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won seven in a row.

 Riley Flack made a splash no matter where he played. He  pitched three innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   three  hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  run.
 In other batting news,  Dayton Wilkinson and  Jesse Hanner did most of the damage at the plate:  Wilkinson  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI, while  Hanner  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  Wilkinson has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Bryson Adams, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 Meanwhile, Creswell had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with  a   6-1  victory over the Billies.
 Creswell's record now sits at 11-6. As for La Pine, they now  have a winning record of 10-9.
 La Pine came up short against Creswell in their previous matchup  two weeks ago, falling  7-3. Can the Hawks avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
