Softball Recap: Northridge Comes Up Short

Northridge lost against Fort Wayne Northrop back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Raiders took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bruins. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mia Branam made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base.

Northridge's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Fort Wayne Northrop, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Northridge didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-8 defeat against Concord on the 12th. As for Fort Wayne Northrop, they have also already played their next match, a 17-2 loss against Elkhart on the 10th.
