Long Reach's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over the Oakland Mills Scorpions. The result was nothing new for the Lightning, who have now won four matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Long Reach's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Oakland Mills, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coming up, Long Reach will be playing in front of their home fans against Centennial at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Oakland Mills, they will head out to face off against Glenelg at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
