It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cumberland can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Westerly Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Clippers' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Cumberland started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-20, 27-25, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Cumberland still got an impressive performance from Mia Hamel, who had 19 digs and four aces. Hamel has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Cumberland's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Westerly, they pushed their record up to 20-0 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home.

As of now, neither Cumberland nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
