Volleyball Recap: Cupertino Comes Up Short

Cupertino was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sanger Apaches.

Cupertino's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Sanger, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season.

Cupertino will challenge Milpitas at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sanger, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against James Logan on the 12th.
