Baseball Recap: Waltham Takes a Loss

Waltham blew Acton-Boxborough out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Acton-Boxborough got their revenge. The Hawks fell just short of the Revolution by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Hawks have suffered since May 4, 2024.

Waltham's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-6. As for Acton-Boxborough, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Waltham is set to square off against their familiar foe Lincoln-Sudbury at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Acton-Boxborough will challenge rival Cambridge Rindge & Latin at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
