Basketball Recap: Hidden Valley Comes Up Short

If Hidden Valley was riding high fresh off their 71-45 takedown of North Bend last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hidden Valley Mustangs fell just short of the Marist Spartans by a score of 58-55 on Thursday. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Hidden Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Marist, they pushed their record up to 2-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hidden Valley and Ashland will round out the year against one another at at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for Marist, they will take on Pendleton at 4:30 p.m. on December 28th.
