Basketball Recap: Bishop Ready Gets the Win

Bishop Ready won the last time they faced Grandview Heights and things went their way on Tuesday too. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, the Bishop Ready Silver Knights made off with a 36-35 win over the Grandview Heights Bobcats.

Bishop Ready's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Terriauna Daniels, who posted 14 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Lia Wahl, who put up two points along with nine boards, five assists, and four steals.

Bishop Ready smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

When it comes to explaining why Grandview Heights lost, don't look at Tatum Lusher. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. That was a full 57.1% of Grandview Heights' points, marking the 14th time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. Hanna Longbrake was another key player, putting up four points.
