            Basketball Recap: Coal Ridge Titans vs. Lotus School For Excellence Meteors        
        
		
        
        
            Coal Ridge posted their biggest  win since February 3rd on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lotus School For Excellence Meteors 65-38. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Titans.

Leading Coal Ridge to victory were  Alex Cornejo and  Ben Simons.  Cornejo  almost  dropped  a double-double on 18  points and nine  boards, while  Simons  dropped  a double-double on 16  points and 12  boards. What's more,  Cornejo also racked up five  steals, the most he's  had since back in January. Another player making a difference was  Christopher Harvey, who  posted eight points and six  rebounds.
 Coal Ridge  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 24  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least nine  offensive boards in three consecutive  matches.
Coal Ridge now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lotus School For Excellence, their  loss was their first of the  season and  makes their record 3-1.
 Coal Ridge and Windsor Charter Academy will face off  at 3:30  p.m.  on Saturday without much rest having both just played. One thing working in Windsor Charter Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  every time they've taken the court this season. As for Lotus School For Excellence, they won't have much time to rest: their next  contest is against Moffat County  at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
