Basketball Recap: Davidson Day Makes It 14 in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Davidson Day, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 52-43 win over the Combine Academy Global Goats on Tuesday. Given the Patriots' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Goats are ranked 299th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Goats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Siphelele Ngubane, who posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was John Stokes III, who went 5 of 12 en route to 11 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks.
