 On Monday, Nazareth Area never let their opponents score. They were the clear victor by  a  17-0 margin over the East Stroudsburg South Cavaliers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Nazareth Area also won the last time the pair played  back in April of 2022.
  Aidan Butz made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and not a single walk). Butz was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news, Nazareth Area let  Chase Kilareski and  Matt Daems loose on the outfield. Kilareski  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 1-for-2, while  Daems  scored a  run while going 3-for-4. Kilareski is crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: he's   stolen at least one every time he's  taken the field this season.  Mason Kuehner was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
 On East Stroudsburg South's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Liam Huffman, who  went 1-for-2 with a  stolen base.
 Nazareth Area now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for East Stroudsburg South, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-3.
 Nazareth Area will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wilson at 11:00  a.m.  on April 6th. As for East Stroudsburg South, they will stay at home for another  game and welcome Bangor at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. East Stroudsburg South has given up an average of 12 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
