Monroe came tearing into Tuesday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 66-59 win over the Snohomish Panthers. Given the Bearcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Panthers are ranked 208th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Monroe pushed their record up to 16-2 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Snohomish, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Monroe will welcome Marysville Getchell at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Monroe has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 213 points over their last three games. As for Snohomish, they will take on Stanwood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Snohomish has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
