Softball Recap: Vallejo Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bethel last Wednesday, Vallejo came back down to earth. The Vallejo Redhawks came up short against the Swett Warriors on Friday, falling 13-4. The Redhawks haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Vallejo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amayah Davis, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Vallejo's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vallejo will venture away from home to square off against Hercules at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Swett, they will head out on the road to take on El Cerrito at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
