Baseball Recap: Waterloo Takes a Loss

Waterloo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Orrville Red Riders.

Waterloo's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Orrville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waterloo will head out to challenge Jackson-Milton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Orrville, they will venture away from home to face off against Valley Forge at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Riders are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
