Football Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Wahkiakum

If Oakville wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Wahkiakum, they should've done a better job of containing Jayden Stoddard. The Mules took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 62-6 win over the Acorns thanks in part to Stoddard, who rushed for 159 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 59 yards and one TD. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.

Another player making a difference was Parker Leitz, who picked up 103 receiving yards and one score. His receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 103 receiving yards.

The victory keeps Wahkiakum at an undefeated 4-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.0 points on average this season. As for Oakville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
