            Softball Preview: Perkins Pirates vs. Bellevue Redmen        
        
		
        
        
            The Perkins Pirates will challenge the Bellevue Redmen at 4:45  p.m.  on Friday. Perkins is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6  runs per game  this season.
Perkins blew Sandusky out of the water the last time the pair played, but  on Wednesday Sandusky got their revenge. The Pirates fell just short of the Blue Streaks by a score of  6-4. The Pirates' loss continues a  trend for the  squad, making it three in a row.
  Avery Baker made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases.
 Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Bellevue's offense. They lost  10-0 to Clyde on Thursday. The Redmen haven't had much luck with the Fliers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
 Bellevue's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Perkins, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
 Everything went Perkins' way against Bellevue in their previous meeting  back in April, as Perkins made off with  a  13-4 victory. Will the Pirates repeat their success,  or do  the Redmen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
