Volleyball Recap: Mooresville Comes Up Short

Mooresville lost against Cascade on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pioneers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cadets.

Cascade got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Suzy Moore out in front who had 12 digs and two assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Rose, who had nine digs and one assist.

Mooresville now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Cascade, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Mooresville has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Perry Meridian on the 27th. As for Cascade, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Monrovia on the 25th.
