Recap: Grace Academy Lions vs. Non Varsity Opponent
On Tuesday, everything went Grace Academy's way against the as the Lions made off with a 47-27 win.
Grace Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kalista Pressley led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 18 points and nine steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Pressley has scored at least a third of Grace Academy's points. Austin Miller was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten assists.
Grace Academy's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 18 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 104-191 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grace Academy will take on the Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Queen's Grant is no doubt hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons on Thursday.
