Baseball Recap: Jenkins Takes a Loss

Jenkins lost against Rye Cove back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Jenkins came up short against Rye Cove, falling 10-2.

Jenkins saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Wyatt, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. Conner Hall was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

Jenkins' defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

While they had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
