Waverly has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Lincoln Northwest Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Waverly is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Nebraska (they are ranked 12th, while Lincoln Northwest is ranked 211th).

Waverly put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. Everything went their way against Hastings as Waverly made off with a 58-35 victory. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Waverly had established a 22 point advantage.

Parker Christiansen was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 16 points. Peyton Tritz was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.

Meanwhile, Lincoln Northwest's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their 14th straight loss. They were outmatched by Bennington on the road and fell 68-27.

Waverly pushed their record up to 14-4 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points per game. As for Lincoln Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 1-17.
