Volleyball Recap: Arbor View Takes Down Ranked Centennial + How To Watch

Arbor View faced Centennial in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Aggies sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Bulldogs. For the Aggies, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Arbor View wouldn't go down easily and took Centennial into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-22, 19-25, 25-18, 15-11.

Tamara Vai Unga paced Arbor View's offense, picking up 28 kills. Unga got some help from Alexxa Chan and her 42 assists. Cori Leavitt controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the loss, Centennial still got an impressive performance from Avery Meservey, who had 17 digs and four assists.

Arbor View's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-6. As for Centennial, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-12.

Looking ahead, Arbor View will welcome Faith Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on the 8th. As for Centennial, after both having extra time off, they and Shadow Ridge will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
