Basketball Recap: Wabasso Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Springfield, Wabasso was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They skirted past the Sleepy Eye Indians 84-81. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rabbits have posted since December 28, 2023.

Wabasso's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Sleepy Eye, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wabasso has already played their next game (against St. Mary's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sleepy Eye has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart.
