Basketball Recap: Woodstock Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Plainfield last Monday, Woodstock Academy came back down to earth. The Woodstock Academy Centaurs took a hard 54-37 fall against the New London Whalers on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Whalers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 63-36 loss back in January.

Woodstock Academy's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for New London, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Woodstock Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New London, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 55-35 defeat against Bacon Academy on the 22nd.
