Baseball Game Preview: San Fernando Tigers vs. Arroyo Knights

The San Fernando Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Arroyo Knights at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arroyo took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on San Fernando, who comes in off a win.

On Saturday, San Fernando needed a bit of extra time to put away Burroughs. They skirted past the Bears 5-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

San Fernando's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Alex Torres, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Arroyo lost 7-1 to Temple City on Saturday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

San Fernando pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Arroyo, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
