Nazareth Academy had won three straight on the road, but on Monday they bumped their record up to 13-11 to make it four. They skirted past the Marian Catholic Spartans 5-4. The victory continues a trend for the Roadrunners in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won three in a row.

As for Marian Catholic, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14. Spartans fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Nazareth Academy since on Monday.

For Marian Catholic's part, Jackie Pollock spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on seven hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, Kendyl Rainey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.
