Who's up and who's down

It was a perfect week for the MaxPreps power rankings: not a single team changed position in spite of last week's action. Among the games was a one-point thriller between North Little Rock and Washington.

Can't Touch This

Fayetteville got a 51 - 28 win over Vianney last week, and a key reason for the win was senior Darius Bowers. Bowers threw for 383 yards and five touchdowns. That performance made Bowers one of the best players in the power rankings last week.

No Stoppin 'Em

96. That was the combined point total for Bentonville West and Owasso when they went head to head last week, and it set the benchmark for all power ranking teams. Bentonville West received a tough blow as it fell 56 - 40 to Owasso. The team got a solid performance out of senior Tyrese Smallwood (he earned two touchdowns and 162 yards rushing the ball); unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win.
