Riverview had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They never let the Brentwood Spartans get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Those three runs were actually the fewest the Raiders have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

The result came thanks to Owen Metz's shutout, as he gave up just three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Miles Duncan was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

Riverview's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Brentwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Riverview wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-1 defeat against Shady Side Academy on the 2nd. As for Brentwood, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-3 victory against Carrick on the 6th.
