Basketball Recap: EPIC Academy Comes Up Short

EPIC Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 60-52 to the Goode STEM Academy Knights. The The Legends were not able to make up for their defeat to the Knights from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Despite the loss, EPIC Academy still got an impressive performance from Antwan Donley, who posted 25 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Abel Kirkwood, who had 11 points and three steals.

EPIC Academy's record is now 0-2. As for Goode STEM Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. EPIC Academy will welcome Chicago Military Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Goode STEM Academy, they will host Bowen at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Goode STEM Academy is facing Bowen at the right time seeing as Bowen is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
