Basketball Recap: David Dellarova's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Gloucester County Christian over Caravel

Gloucester County Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Caravel Buccaneers an easy 73-50 win.

Gloucester County Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was David DellaRova, who went 7 for 16 on his way to 18 points and five rebounds. Brady Gesin was another key player, putting up ten points and seven assists.

Gloucester County Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Caravel, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gloucester County Christian and Calvary Christian Academy will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for Caravel, they will head out to face off against Tatnall at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
