Volleyball Recap: Person Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Person won the last time they faced Southeast Alamance and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rockets blew past the Stallions 3-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Rockets, who have now won three matches in a row.

Person was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 25-19.

Peyton Hogan paced Person's offense, picking up 16 kills. Hogan got some help from Kylee Hayden and her 16 assists.

Southeast Alamance's loss came despite strong showings from Gracyn Lee and Emily Troy. Lee had nine digs and two aces, while Troy had seven kills and six digs.

Person's win bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Southeast Alamance, with the defeat, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 13-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Person will square off against rival Williams at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Southeast Alamance is set to challenge their familiar foe Eastern Alamance at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
