Baseball Recap: Northside Christian Takes a Loss

Northside Christian lost against Liberty Christian Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northside Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Henry Kester, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Northside Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Liberty Christian Academy, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Northside Christian will take on Granville Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Northside Christian's pitchers better be ready for this one: Granville Christian Academy has averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season. As for Liberty Christian Academy, they will face off against Madison Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
