Softball Recap: Kennedy Trojans vs. Colton Vikings

Kennedy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Colton apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played last Wednesday.
Madelyn Schaecher stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 5-for-6 with four RBI and a run. Audrey Brenden was another key contributor, scoring three runs while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances.
On Colton's side, the team relied heavily on Katelynn Kimsey, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Kimsey is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last seven games she's played.
