Volleyball Recap: Gambell Comes Up Short

Gambell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Aniguiin Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Friday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 18-25, 25-19, 25-12.

Gambell's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Aniguiin, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Coincidentally, Gambell and Aniguiin will both be playing Koyuk Malimiut the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Malemutes at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the King Polar Bear will play them later in the day, at 8:30 p.m.
