Volleyball Recap: Discovery Canyon Wins Going Away Against Mesa Ridge

Discovery Canyon picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mesa Ridge Grizzlies. That two set margin sets a new team best for the Thunder this season.

Prasaeus Valdez paced Discovery Canyon's offense, picking up nine kills. Valdez got some help from Ava Grimm and her 13 assists. Avery Bean controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Discovery Canyon now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Mesa Ridge, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Discovery Canyon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against The Classical Academy on the 6th. As for Mesa Ridge, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Palmer on the 6th.
