Soccer Recap: Mt. St. Joseph Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mt. St. Joseph Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Arlington Memorial Eagles by a score of 4-3 on Friday. Riley Collins probably wasn't too happy after the contest: she scored every single goal for Mt. St. Joseph Academy and still walked away on the losing team.

Mt. St. Joseph Academy's defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5. As for Arlington Memorial, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Mt. St. Joseph Academy nor Arlington Memorial have any future games scheduled.
