Softball Recap: Ripon Comes Up Short

Ripon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the Plymouth Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-4 back in April.

Ripon saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Presley Lisowe, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another was Gabi Gaffney, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Ripon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Plymouth, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-6.

Coming up, Ripon will be playing at home against Kewaskum at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Plymouth, they will head out to challenge Random Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
