After both having extra time off, the Kalida Wildcats and the Calvert Senecas will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Kalida comes in on five and Calvert on 25.
Kalida is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Pettisville.

Kalida's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Isabel Recker, who had four digs and four aces. Recker has been hot recently, having also posted 12 or more assists the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Carlie Siefker, who had 16 digs and one assist.
They weren't the only good servers: Kalida was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in nine consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Calvert got the win against New Riegel on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Calvert took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-6, 25-13.
Kalida better keep an eye on Kate Coleman. She was instrumental in Calvert's win, getting six digs and three aces.
Calvert's win bumped their record up to 25-0. As for Kalida, their victory bumped their record up to 20-5.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's contest: Kalida has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 10.8 aces per game. However, it's not like Calvert struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 14.4 aces.
