Volleyball Recap: Community School of Naples Snags Eighth Win in Last Ten Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Marco Island Academy, Community School of Naples was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Barron Collier Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Seahawks have posted against the Cougars since September 4, 2018.

One reason for the win was Community School of Naples' just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 25-23, 25-12.

Community School of Naples was led to victory by Claire Byerly and Mia Ringhofer. Byerly had seven digs and two aces, while Ringhofer had 15 digs and ten kills. That's the most kills Ringhofer has posted over her last three contests. Sophia Dahlquist also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Community School of Naples has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Barron Collier, they dropped their record down to 7-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Community School of Naples will venture away from home to take on Canterbury at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Barron Collier, they will host Naples at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
