It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mabank had no problem doing just that on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the North Dallas Bulldogs a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Mabank, who have now won nine games by three goals or more so far this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Mabank, bringing their record up to 14-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three matchups. As for North Dallas, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-3-2.
