Soccer Game Preview: River Mill vs. Woods Charter

River Mill hasn't had much luck against Woods Charter recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Jaguars will head out to take on Wolves at 6:00 p.m. River Mill will be strutting in after a win while Woods Charter will be coming in after a defeat.

River Mill's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Chatham Charter as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for River Mill in their matchups with Chatham Charter: they've now won five in a row.

Ava Richardson and Claire Bailey scored all three of River Mill's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, Woods Charter was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cornerstone Charter. Woods Charter's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Woods Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for River Mill, they now have a winning record of 6-5-1.

River Mill might still be hurting after the 4-0 loss they got from Woods Charter in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Jaguars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
