Citrus Hill extended the longest winning streak in Mountain Pass this week by beating Beaumont, 56-31. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Citrus Hill took down the Cougars 56-31 last week, the largest margin of any game. Trevor Hodge threw for 208 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 73 yards in the win.
Matt Parker was the best wideout in the league this week as Hemet fell to West Valley. Parker tallied seven receptions for 144 yards. Yeager Taylor helped Hemet's passing attack out by catching one ball for two yards.
PJ Walker was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 20 carries, he ran for 208 yards as Eric Zomalt's team fell to the Mustangs.
Tahquitz's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Titans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ben Moreno has thrown for 1293 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Michael Stewart has 47 catches for 620 yards. Jonte Price leads the league in rushing with 1306 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when West Valley takes on Tahquitz. Tom Wallace's team is currently in third, while the Titans are in second.
There should be lots of points scored when the Mustangs and Tahquitz face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, West Valley comes in having scored 280 this season, while Dennis Gregovich's team has scored 317. The Mustangs scored 44 points last week as they bested Hemet.
The Titans made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,421 from 1,678. The advance stemmed from a 37-20 victory over San Jacinto last week.
