Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Heritage Christian Academy). In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 65-64 victory over the Joshua Christian Knights. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 38-35 back in January.

Heritage Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Raiden Harrison, who posted 20 points. The dominant performance gave Harrison a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Carson Hicks, who had 15 points.

Despite the defeat, Joshua Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Tristan Millspaugh went 10 for 17 en route to 26 points in addition to eight assists and eight rebounds. That was a full 40.6% of Joshua Christian's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's put up more than a third of the team's points. Caleb Ashcraft was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 13 boards.

The victory made it two in a row for Heritage Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 6-15. As for Joshua Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Heritage Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-53 win against Grace Christian Academy on the 4th. Joshua Christian has also already played their next contest, a 45-38 victory against Cristo Rey Fort Worth on the 4th.
