Preview: Caruthersville Tigers vs. Lake County Falcons
The Caruthersville Tigers will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Lake County Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on February 8th. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Tuesday, Caruthersville had to suffer through a rough 82-43 loss at the hands of New Madrid County Central. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Caruthersville has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Lake County's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of Gleason by a score of 69-67. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Caruthersville dropped their record down to 6-8 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Lake County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
