Meanwhile, Aquinas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell to Southeast 60-55.

The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Bronson Gilyard and Garrett Sprutte. Sprutte had a great game and dropped a double-double on 33 points and 13 rebounds. Meanwhile, Gilyard was balling out in the loss, scoring 32 points along with two steals.
