Harding put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They really took it to Oberlin for the full four quarters, racking up a 76-45 win at home. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Harding had established a 27 point advantage.
Meanwhile, Aquinas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell to Southeast 60-55.
The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Bronson Gilyard and Garrett Sprutte. Sprutte had a great game and dropped a double-double on 33 points and 13 rebounds. Meanwhile, Gilyard was balling out in the loss, scoring 32 points along with two steals.
Even though they lost, Aquinas were working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southeast only posted four assists.
