Recap: Georgia Force Christian Blue Knights vs. Grace Christian Academy EAGLES
The Georgia Force Christian Blue Knights lost against the Grace Christian Academy EAGLES back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Georgia Force Christian fell to Grace Christian Academy 59-53. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Georgia Force Christian has scored all season.
Shepard Acton and Carter Mccarn certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Acton dropped a double-double on 16 points and 16 rebounds, while Mccarn scored 21 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. That was a full 39.6% of Georgia Force Christian's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Cj Britt was another key contributor, scoring four points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Georgia Force Christian has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season. As for Grace Christian Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Georgia Force Christian will challenge Johnson Ferry Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Grace Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Byne Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 29th. Byne Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 401 points over their last six matches.
